The Last Song.
Dear, Dear World,
It’s been a few weeks since I’ve played my guitar now and I must say I do miss it. however, I have made up my mind and I must stick to it no matter how unusual this may seem to many of …. all of you.
So, I’ve decided to do one last thing before I put it away for good. During the last few days I’ve been rigging my gear and setting up for one last recording session. This will be done on my Mac using Mac software and giving onelast tribute to both music and machine. It’s been well known that the Mac is a favorite among creative people and I’m going to try my best to show off how still powerful a 10 year old G3 can be.
I’ve been practicing getting my effects pedal calibrated and my amp adjusted and I must say that even though two/three weeks isn’t that long I already feel myself getting rusty. I’m pretty sure if I went a year I’d probably forget altogether. Anyhow, I was originally going to record one last song and leave it but I have revisited the idea and have decided that it will be an EP of sorts with about five or six songs I’ve been working on before I made my mind up to give it up. Will I share them? Will I one of them? I don’t think so. I’m not real big on showing offor even drawing attention to myself but I do want to do this one last thing. I’m also very curious to see how my old Mac will handle the task.
