The Twins.

Dear World,

An interesting thing occurred this week. I found an exact twin of my PowerMac G3 Blueberry. I had planned on buying a non-working model so I could use the panels from it and bring Berry up to speed cosmetically but since I’d pay the same price and have found my particular specs are rare, why not get another one? So … that’s what I did.

I just received a tracking number from FedEx and my PowerMac G3 has left Orlando,FL and is expected to arrive to me Friday.

I am going to eventually fix this little guy up and I might hold some kind of contest giving it to a friend or family member. I’m not sure yet. The same love and care will go into it as my pride and joy Berry and I want it to go to a person who will love it and keep it. Also for whoever winds up with it the sole catch is that should they ever get rid of it, it goes back to me.

It’s not going to be as hard-core as Berry but It will be an awesome machine no matter. No shortcuts. I’m going to put it away for now but … when that day comes … be ready!

I might do something like an essay question or something. Perhaps I’ll get a little egocentric and ask the person who wants it most come visit me and pick it up in person. I don’t know. I have no idea what I’ll do becuase I know the vast majority of the people I know could not possibly care any less about computers especially ten year old ones.
